It's madness how fast the past nine months have flown by. It's crazy to think that my little boy has been out of me as long as he was in. It's insane how fast McCoy has developed, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I just love the little man to death and sometimes I just want to squeeze his guts out...not really but I really do love him to the bones. He's over 19 lbs now and eating his big boy food so much better. He sleeps through the night from 7:30 to 7:30 every day and takes amazingly good naps.
The newest and greatest is that McCoy took his official first steps the other day. It was official because no one was watching when he slowly let go of the sturdy object he was holding onto and took 5 steps. It was unbelievable and of course he won't do it again so we can get it on video but I just had to blog about it. I hope he doesn't try and really figure the walking thing out because that means trouble for us parents. Who knows what the future brings.
Is this not the cutest thing you've ever seen? Trevor found him like this while Trevor was letting him play around with his toys. He crawled all the way behind our entertainment center and was loving every second of it. I just can't believe that he didn't get stuck:)
Watching uncle Ryan play the guitar.
I couldn't help it...I know, kind of sad.
We made a trip to Costco with cousin Ruby. As you can tell, McCoy hasn't ever seen another baby sharing his very own shopping cart. By the end, he was enjoying the company.
While Trevor was watching McCoy he caught him looking at him self in the most peculiar way. I'm glad he got it on video because it is pretty darn cute. (Link Below)
McCoy still loves his baths more than anything. His new found love is the sponge that we catch him eating every once in a while. Pretty gross but he for some reason loves taking his baths with it. (Link Below)
Some how McCoy's crawling skills keep getting better and better. I'm sure they're just going to increase in speed so hopefully I'll still be able to keep up with him. I'm really afraid for when he learns how to walk....ok more afraid of when he learns how to run. Also, check out what McCoy does when he gets to the stairs. It's like he knows what will happen if he takes one more move towards them. He doesn't always do that but maybe he's learning. (Link Below)
