This past weekend we had the chance to go to a benefit dinner that our ward was putting on for some of the latest natural disasters. McCoy had such a fun time playing with all the little kids. He refused to sit down at our table so we ended up letting him run around with the rest of them. We couldn't keep track of him though and worried that he would get into some trouble with out our supervision. Trev took one of the balloons off the table and tied it to his little belt loop in his shorts. It was so cute to see nothing but a bobbing balloon every once in a while.
Here's a video of him with the balloon up on stage with Dad and about 20 other kids running around. He even gets plowed over by one of them but just laughs and keeps going crazy. (Link Below)
This morning I was picking up a few things around the house and doing some laundry while McCoy pleasantly entertained himself like he usually does. I was in the living room when I heard him grunting and banging something around. I figured I should probably go check on him to make sure he wasn't getting into anything he wasn't supposed to. I walked into our bedroom to find him like this...
So cute! And if you couldn't tell, that is his "doing the dirty in his pants" face that he makes which explains the grunting part. Daddy's shoes, that he's trying to walk in, were clear on the inside of the closet. He obviously wanted the brightest shoes he could find, which also explains the loud banging that I heard from him trying to get them out of the closet. He was so cute. I helped him put both shoes on the correct feet which made him very determined to walk in them....he just isn't quite that talented to walk in shoes half his size and probably weight.
Daddy sure is proud!
