Summer weekends

 The last couple weekends we've had the chance to go on a couple mini vacations. 

We went to Idaho with the Hobsons a couple weekends ago. We spent the weekend boating and relaxing with friends by the river. 

This past weekend McCoy and I went to my grandparent's cabin, "Gubler's Glen." It was a lot of fun spending time with family and hiking and adventuring through the woods. McCoy even had the chance to ride his very first four wheeler. These four wheeler rides included wearing helmets and of course McCoy and Steele both loved wearing them. In fact, McCoy loved it so much, he wore his helmet almost all day every day. 

 

We've enjoyed ourselves so much these past few weekends. Makes me wish summer lasted longer than a couple months. 

Instagraming it up

I tend to forget about the blog world because I'm always posting on Instagram. My apologies.

Here are some of our pictures that we've posted recently if you haven't seen them already. We have so much fun together now that I'm not working and I'm loving each moment. 

Our family reunion

In July we went to LA for Trevor's family reunion. It was a great time to spend with family in a very fun environment. We drove all the way and McCoy did so well. It did help that we have the best road trip car and he could watch all the movies he wanted with our DVD entertainment system...and of course, he had all the treats he could want. We stayed in a KOA camp and McCoy was in heaven. We all enjoyed ourselves.

We went to the San Diego Zoo while we were there. McCoy loved every minute of it.

During this trip we confirmed that McCoy has a sweet love for Uncle Gabe. He wanted to spend most of his time with him. I'm convinced that it's not only because he's an awesome uncle but also because Gabe is the only one that can keep up with McCoy's energy. We found Gabe playing with McCoy nermerous times: throwing him up in the air, jumping down the street together, and of course sharing all sorts of candy together. 

We had such a good week spending quality time with Grandma Hatch, Aunts and Uncles, cousins, sisters and brothers. We love our family!

McCoy had the melt down of the century when I told him we washed his blanket. He's been by the dryer for about 10 min now waiting for it to be finished drying...poor kid.

Wheeler Farms

After 5 years of working, Trevor's schooling and the lack of Saturdays we could spend together, it feels so good to know that we finally have every one of them together now.

Today it was a cute local farm. Every cute animal was there. McCoy enjoyed it and loved the outdoor adventures...and of course he enjoyed the tractors.
