McCoy's Blessing

McCoy's baby blessing was on March 21, 2010. My dad gave him an amazing blessing to be energetic and to know of our love for him. Of course there was much more but I found it interesting that he blessing him to be energetic because he is always so spunky anyway:) Since McCoy is always holding his hands, it just so happened that when the blessing started, McCoy put his hands together to pray with all the big boys. He's just so adorable and I can't get enough of him.

Smiles All Around

McCoy has got to be the cutest thing I've ever seen. We just got done shopping and Trev was driving. McCoy was being so smilie and happy. I finally got video of this and I couldn't resist to share it as soon as I got home. I don't know what I would do with out my monkey boy McCoy.

My Little Man is all grown up

Ok so not really but he is getting pretty big. We went to his 2 month appointment last Friday. He now weighs 12 lbs 7 oz and 23 1/2 in long. He's gained over 5 lbs since he was born. His weight is in the 75th %, length is in the 50th % and his head is in the 25th %. He got his shots too and he didn't like that. He did pretty well though. The rest of the day he slept but was really sensitive. His legs were hurting him pretty bad. Here's a picture of him sleeping with his little band aids. It was pretty sad:(

McCoy has found his hands. He is always holding them like this and usually he gets them to his mouth and sucks on them...it's the cutest little thing. It looks like he's praying, "Dear God" :)
He has also found his tongue. As you can see in the next few pictures, his cute little tongue is sticking out. So cute...I just can't get enough of him!!

Seriously, I just want to eat him up all the time. He is so sweet and so innocent. Just my perfect little angel. Cheesy, I know, but perfect is the only word that comes close to how amazing he is.

We love spending time in bed in the morning. He's always so happy and he smiles so much. OH and he loves to make these funny faces too :)



So I also started work again a week ago and it really isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Trevor brings McCoy to work to eat so I don't have to go all day long with out seeing him. I don't think I could make it all day if I couldn't see him. I also think it's good for Trev to spend a little daddy time with him. He does really well too. I just love my little family. I love coming home to my two boys and seeing their smiles:)

So this morning when McCoy and I woke up, it had snowed about 4 inches and was still snowing, a lot. The first thing that came to my mind was this cute little reindeer outfit that one of my co-workers, Alisha, gave me. I seriously can't get enough of the little man. I just had to share the cuteness that I get every day.


McCoy loves his bath time. I always put him on this towel while I'm getting everything ready and this is what he does. He gets so excited every time even if he's screaming right before. I think it's the sound of the bath tub water filling up, which you can hear in the background noise. Some day I'll have to get our swimsuits on to show you how much fun he has in the bathtub.

Mr. Smilie Face

So McCoy and I had a fun day taking pictures for his two-month picture. He was being so happy and smilie. I was laughing pretty much the whole time because his smiles make me so happy. He really is the best son I could have ever asked for.

Look how strong he is. He was sitting up all by himself with no help for about 15 seconds...he was so balanced too!



McCoy and Trev fell asleep after a long day. I just love those little moments of them together. The two boys I love!

The pictures are a little out of focus but cousin Steele and McCoy are already playing together...well kind of. Steele usually just looks at McCoy with a stare of wonder as to what in the world he is. After that stage passes, he will make "the face" and cheese it. Then he will usually want to touch him, kiss him with his mouth wide open, or take his binki. I know watching them grow up together is going to be so fun!
It's not in focus but that is "the face" that Steele is making. Aren't they just so adorable together?
And of course, here's cousin Ruby and McCoy holding hands:) They're exactly 1 week apart. McCoy is going to have so many little friends to play with while he's growing up.

Our Little Project

Trevor and I finished a project that we've been wanting to finish for a while now. This was a table that belonged to my grandma, "Mutey", and Trevor and I finished it to match our apartment. I was going to take before and after pictures but I remember after we had already finished half of the table. Sorry:( but take my word for it, it looks 10 times better than it did before. We usually eat our meals on our living room coffee table, hunched over like animals. I'm just glad that our apartment now has a normal table to eat on and we can now have people over for dinner!

 This is a cute little outfit that Trevor's sister, Nicole, gave us when McCoy was born. It's a little big for him but I just loved it so much I couldn't wait any longer to put it on him. 

 

I just can't get enough of my little monkey...isn't he just so adorable? He always make me smile and Trevor and I just can't get enough of him. We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we do! 

So I'm sure that this doesn't count as rolling over since is was from his tummy to his back but he did it like 3 times in a row and we got pretty excited. He's 7 1/2 weeks old and this isn't the first time he's done it.


Grandma gave McCoy his first hair cut a couple weeks ago...he kind of has an old man hair due since he's loosing his hair on the top of his head:)

McCoy loves sitting up and being able to see around. He loves looking up at the lights. I tried putting him in my sister's bumbo and he liked it a lot. He was making some pretty funny faces in these pictures so I had to share them with you because they brought smiles to my face.

Time to get a little mushy...During this Valentine's time I have to express my love for being a mom because it seriously is the best thing in the whole world! I love waking up every day knowing that I have my little buddy to play with all day long. Looking back at how my life was with out him is really strange because I don't know what I did all day with out him. He is the light of every day and he brings a smile to my face every time I hold him. Trevor and I are so blessed to have him in our lives and I thank God every day for the joy he brings to us. McCoy is such a miracle in every way and we love being here to share every moment with him. I never thought I would ever feel this way about my little family and I never knew I could feel so much love towards McCoy and Trevor.
McCoy is such a smilie little boy. The last couple weeks he's been smiling and even laughing so much. Right after I feed him he's always so happy and smiles for at least 20 min or so straight.

So This video is from a while ago but I just wanted to show how strong McCoy is. He was about 1 month old when I took this. Sorry about the video being sideways but I'm not advanced enough to know how to rotate it. You'll just have to kink your neck for a little bit:)

They grow so fast!

I never knew what it would feel like to just watch your kids grow until now. McCoy is growing so fast it's crazy. I was actually having a hard time getting him to feed well and it was kind of worrying us. We thought he might have acid reflex because every time I was feeding him all he would do was scream. It was probably the hardest thing because I felt like I was making him miserable. I finally took him to the doctors to get him tested for reflex. They weighed him to make sure that he wasn't loosing any weight. Well the results made me realize that I was just being over paranoid parent and they didn't need to do any tests. He weighed 10 lbs 9 oz. My son that was born one month ago already weighs over 10 1/2 lbs! I didn't realize that he really was growing that fast. That's over 2 oz. a day! He was having a hard time eating because he wasn't really hungry. I've tried feeding him a little longer between feedings and fewer minutes. He's doing much better now and feeding him is much more pleasant. He really is getting to be a chunker and comparing him in pictures, he really has grown a ton. 

Here he is at 3 different weeks. He's wearing the same pair of pants and they are getting tighter and tighter:)

"Life is good..." That's for sure. Life really is amazing with McCoy around. He makes both Trevor and me smile every single day. It's exciting to wake up in the morning and know that I have my little friend to play with. 

 

This "Binky connector" is the best thing I've purchased. I never have to search anymore for the little thing or have to wonder where in the world it went when he's in his car-seat.

 

He's our little gangsta' :)

 

 Trevor loves his "Daddy Time"
